The beautiful Adyanpara waterfall, nestled in the depths of the jungles, is an ideal picnic spot. The seasonal waterfall is located at Kurumbalangode village of Nilambur taluk in Malappuram district. Though the waterfall dries up in the summer, it becomes a must-visit locale during the monsoons. The exotic flora and fauna, presence of migratory birds and picture-perfect surroundings are a captivating sight. It is believed that the waterfalls have medicinal properties.
As the waterfall is located in the hills, visitors must trek through slippery, rocky pathways to reach it. Those coming here can explore the surrounding forest areas, visit the teak museum at Nilambur, Nedumkayam, Kadalundi bird sanctuary, the Elembalai hill, Banglavu Kunnu and Thirumandhamkunnu temple. The waterfall is 10 km away from Nilambur and closer to the Kozhikode-Ooty highway. Nilambur is 70 km from Kozhikode city.
